Of course we’re best pair folks- we’re both Canadians! Holla!

3:10 to Yuma hits theaters this Friday.
Poor Miss South Carolina! Her “blonde” answer to why only 1/5 of Americans can identify the U.S. on a map, has become the laughing stock of the country. The video of her fumble has become the most watched on YouTube.
She can be proud of one thing in this situation. At least 1/5 of Americans know who she is right now- can you say teen angst?

Yesterday, I covered The Teen Choice Awards for MOVIES.COM. Luckily, the erratic L.A. weather stepped in and it went from overcast, to rainy, to sunny in the matter of 2 hours! YAY!
High School Daze
No brainer here- All eyes were on Zac Efron… I mean, the entire cast of High School Musical 2 as the tween hit won 3 awards.

The Teen Choice Awards went green this year with the motto, “Teens Go Green”. The red carpet was actually a grass carpet… and I’m told it wasn’t even real, but I guess it served the “green” purpose.

I had funny moment last night while hanging at Boa Sunset with some industry friends post “Miss Teen USA”.
Out of nowhere this huge table of guys starting banging their cutlery attempting to make music. The weird noises ensued for a few minutes, until I decided to take it upon myself as a true journalist to investigate the situation. I approached the table and jokingly said, “Are you guys having fun?” when suddenly a big bouncer guy came up to me and told me to leave the table. I felt somewhat violated. I was just trying to be playful and cute and was mistaken for some crazy chick! Well, it turns out the big gaggle of men were The Gipsy Kings and I had busted in on their musical table party. Figures….
BOX OFFICE WOES
Word on the street is that the film, The Nanny Diaries, sucks and it got plowed at the box office last night by the super funny Superbad.
But The Weinstein Company isn’t letting that stop them from maintaining their PR push.

I was just training at Crunch in West Hollywood (which might as well be a gay club) when from the corner of my eye I saw Zsa Zsa Gabor’s questionable hubby working out his pecks. Yes very random indeed! My trainer said the Prince had offered him $300 to train him privately at home. Interesting…

Last night, I was on Geraldo with the founder of a website called MYFREEIMPLANTS.COM.
Basically, chicks set up hot profiles in hopes of getting donations to pay for their breast implants. No joke!

Hey- it worked for the tween phenomenon “High School Musical 2″ this friday.
It was the most watched cable telecast event with 17.2 million viewers. Mix kids loving musicals and moms/chicks older than 14 who equally love the very fresh and easy on the eyes Zac Efron, and we’re talking big numbers.
He was on the cover of the freakin’ Rolling Stone magazine this month in a tease shot of him taking off his shirt… or putting it back on? I guess we’ll never really know!

X GAMES MADNESS!
Last week was busy in L.A. with ESPN’s X GAMES.
I hit up the Standard Downtown for the Disturbia DVD launch and had an awesome moment with director DJ Caruso. I was joking around with him about Shia LeBeouf and he called him up as we were shooting. Unfortunately, he didn’t answer. He’s too busy doing things like shooting the 4th Installment of Indiana Jones. Whatever! haha. For all those ladies (and men perhaps) who are interested, he has classical music for his call tone. Very sophisticated I must say! I did leave a message and got made fun of for not saying what outlet I was from or giving my phone number. I guess there’s always next time, right?
