Here’s a low-key interview I did for The Hollywood Reporter on a porch at The Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto with Charlize Theron, her bf Stuart Townsend and Woody Harrelson.

Townsend made his directorial debut at the fest with Battle in Seattle starring Theron and Harrelson.

6 DEGREES OF BS…

It’s 8 A.M.
I am sitting in the airport in Montreal heading back to Lalaland.
CNN is reporting on the President and as I cruise the web, Britney Spears, still remains the number one headline- Lets take a look at Brit’s post VMA domino effect:

NEW YORK TIMES is “investigating” what really went down at the MTV Video Music Awards. Sounds like real journalism to me…

PEREZ HILTON reports that she might apologize at the Emmy’s and is begging her to do so, “Do it Girl!”

TMZ got Dr. Drew to give his take on Brit last night outside a club comparing the former popstar to Anna Nicole Smith. Ouch!

White trash vlogger, Chris Crocker’s ridiculous cry (literally) to leave Britney alone is the most watched video on youtube:

People reacted to the Crock(er) video, including Seth Green on The Soup:

I’m the second box on the left

This morning started out like every other- wake up, turn on laptop, log onto myspace…
When suddenly, I see one of the video’s I hosted for LX TV on the front page of Myspace.
Pretty random! It’s a WINE TASTING 101 I shot for the network last December. Who knows how it found its way there, but I’m not sure how many Myspacers are into fine wining and dining.

WILD LONG WEEKEND

Posted in Uncategorized by Shira with View Comments

Sep2007 03

What a nice long weekend! On Friday, I was at a local bookstore and picked up Jon Krakauer’s national bestseller “Into The Wild”. Published in 1997, it chronicles the the tragic true-story of 24-year old Christopher McCandless who hitchhiked across the country to live in the wild of Alaska.

Sean Penn fell in love with the book and optioned it. The result? A feature film directed by Penn and starring Emile Hirsch (Girl Next Door, Alpha Dog) that will be premiering at the Toronto Film Festival next week. I’ll be at the fest, so I felt inspired to read this amazing story.
