Hello everyone! I’ve been so busy with my new show on NBC here in L.A., but today, I’m finally vegging out at home watching WE TV’s “Once Smitten” movie marathon. Started with The Man In The Moon, which still makes me tear at the end. Now watching Peggy Sue Got Married. Ah! Sometimes you just got to be lazy!

Nokia also sent me a new Nokia N95, so I’m back to video blogging. You can now see all my mobile video updates on KYTE.TV. You can see my channel on the right of this blog. Every time I shoot a fun video on my phone, I upload it immediately from wherever I am and it will appear right there! So, keep checking back!

Last night, I enjoyed the incredible new dinner menu at La Mill Coffee Boutique in Silverlake. The upscale cafe is a great place to get your caffeine fix and has an amazing day and evening menu courtesy of Providence’s, Michael Cimarusti. They don’t have any alcohol, but we were able to grab a bottle of wine right next door and there was no corkage fee!

I met Jina last night at the restaurant. She was with her friend who was eyeing my House-Cured Tasmanian Sea Trout before I gave her a little taste. I’m telling you, that’s the way to eat! We should all be tasting each other’s plates. It makes for a very fun eating experience!

We’re holding a napkin that Jina wrote on with her favorite Korean restaurants in L.A. One includes a Shabu Shabu joint called Kahn.

Enjoying the Chai Spiced Grimaud Farms Muscovy Duck Breast with Cous cous, vadouvan, black olive-rosemary honey and the Crispy Skinned New Zealand Char with Twice cooked potatoes, brown beech mushrooms and soy.

So yummy!

The indulgence ended with 3 desserts, one of which was called the Kinda’ Like Crème Brulee.

Shout out to my waiter and actor Joey Klein who is actually from my hometown of Montreal. You may have seen him recently as the chemist in American Gangster. What a small world!
