Ok- I’m not just trying to copy blogger Perez Hilton by saying the following:
Eric Hutchison’s new album, Sounds Like This, rocks!
I just downloaded it off I tunes (yep, I’m a good citizen and pay for my music
Practically every song could be a hit. I must say though, I knew Eric from back in the day when we went to college. Just had to throw it out there! haha. But it’s truly awesome to see people you knew, even somewhat, doing amazingly and well deserving of all their success.
Here’s the music video for his single, Rock & Roll. You can’t help but bop your head, tap your toes or just join in with the song. Rock on!
The actual cake being held by my Dad who came in from Montreal.
Thanks to my director friend, Dan Smarg, for his creative rendition.
Crumbs Bakeshop cupcakes before.

Crumbs Bakeshop cupcakes after. Yummy!!
Ok- it was late and we were being creative.
Now it’s time to workout!
Thanks so much to photographer extraodinaire, Paul Huynh.
You can see more of my party pics right HERE

Today was very medieval themed. I went to a Renaissance Fair and tried my hand at knife throwing, tomato tossing at a weird guy, tarot cards and held another random medieval dude’s mouse.
Then, I watched the film Enchanted for the first time- and there those medieval folks were again. Loved the movie but I think I’ve had my share of medieval stuff for a while!
The Renaissance Fair was also filled with questionable innuendos like giant sized pickles and swords… Hmmm…
OTHER RANDOMNESS:
My favorite song of the moment:
Westcoast by Jason Schwartzman’s band Coconut Records
Also, this past Friday night I had a big bash for my 25th B-DAY! Crazy pics to come…
Thanks to:
- All my friends who came out to party!
- My lovely British friend, Ben Skerker, who provided his pad for the party.
- Jake for spinning and getting people to dance in L.A. (a miraculous endeavor)
- The amazing Harley Bauer who gave me 100 or so delectable cupcakes from Crumbs Bakeshop, which were way to good!
I’ve been enjoying such a nice relaxing weekend before heading back to work tomorrow for a busy and birthday filled week.
Yep, this TUESDAY MAY 6TH I turn the big 2-5. Both my parents (who are divorced) will be in town to celebrate with me. I don’t think that’s happened in 6 years! Also, is it just me or is 25 a big one? I feel like it’s definitely that transitional year where you say to yourself, “I’m an adult now, time to start planning for the future!” Ok, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself, but there’s some truth in that.
On another note-
Here’s a fun spa segment that aired on this week’s 1ST LOOK LA- Enjoy!
I’m definitely ready for the weekend. Just finishing up at the office right now and I’m seriously contemplating a massage/spa session!
