Today I stopped by Drink:Eat:Play’s “5 year old Gourmet Party”- It was fun, besides the fact that I got there at 5pm, only to discover it ended then and not at 7pm like I had thought. Whoops!

At least I got this fun pic out of it:

LA is in the middle of a heat wave, and you know what that means? Time to buy something summery!

Just bought these sunglasses from Dita on Melrose. They’re called Fever.

The segment is obviously not a laughing matter because Nick Hogan’s friend who got into the car accident with him is now semi-conscious and can’t move. But- I must say one random thing did happen that made me laugh. Greta asked me a question- I couldn’t hear because the sound was a bit muffled and I simply said, “What?” Not “Excuse me”, “Pardon”, “Can you repeat that?” Just “What?” live on a news show ala valley girl. Ok- the casual slip isn’t going to end my career but I just thought I’d share.

Last night, I party hopped and hit up the G-Star party in Beverly Hills and then headed to Avalon for the 2nd Annual Design For Humanity Event by Billabong. The biggest highlight of the evening was seeing one of my favorite bands of the moment perform, MGMT. They rock!
