JUMPING INTO 2009!

For the past few years I’ve written out resolutions- some are very specific and some are keywords/energy I want to put out there for the new year. I don’t typically show anyone my resolutions, but after seeing some friends publish theirs online and one of mine being “no fear” (no not like the 90s clothing line), I’ve decided to just put it out there. So here you go:

BE ON STAFF ON A NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL REPUTABLE NETWORK, ON-AIR, DAILY SHOW, SPECIALS, GIGANTIC ONLINE PRESENCE, MERGE BOTH WORLDS- BE AN OUTLIER ON TV AND ONLINE.
CREATE PROGRAMMING THAT ENTERTAINS, MAKES A DIFFERENCE, INFORMS, POSITIVE IMPACT, IS RELEVANT, MAKES CHANGE, IS INNOVATIVE!
HAVE THE FREEDOM TO DO OTHER ON-AIR PROJECTS TOO.

WRITE MORE- MY BLOG, OTHER BLOGS, HUFFINGTON POST?

READ MORE BOOKS AND KEEP UP WITH NEWS

WORKOUT- STAY IN SHAPE

NO FEAR!

BE HEALTHY- VITAMINS DAILY

BE RESPECTED AND VALUED BY FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES

BE AMAZING AT WHAT I DO

CHALLENGE MYSELF

STRIVE FOR MORE

BE A GOOD PERSON

BE OPEN AND SINCERE

BE POSITIVE

LOVE AND BE LOVED

BE HAPPY, LAUGH A LOT

SURROUND MYSELF WITH POSITIVE PEOPLE AND POSITIVITY

DON’T BE LATE! WATCH TARDINESS!

BE AWARE IN EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE- PROFESSIONALLY, VOCALLY, ON-AIR, FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR THE WORLD- JOIN A NON-PROFIT.

KEEP UP VIDEO BLOGS

CREATE AN ONLINE VIDEO SERIES

MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO SUPPORT CURRENT LIFESTYLE AND BEYOND- I DON’T WANT TO BE WORRIED ABOUT SPENDING ON LUXURIES.

TRAVEL!

EXPERIENCE NEW THINGS

VISIT MUSEUMS

EAT AT NEW RESTAURANTS

POSITIVE ATTENTION AROUND WHAT I DO- PRESS.

DO MORE SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, CONFERENCES, EVENTS (SPEAKING MYSELF, HOSTING, MODERATING)

I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR, BRAND, COMMODITY!

WORK HARD, PLAY HARD!

  • When it comes to staying healthy I recommend the Abs Diet by David Zinczenko, Mens Health Editor. It`s based around the glycemic index and simple daily workouts.

    I've been following you on twitter and checking out your videos for the past few months. As an avid social media professional, I am constantly looking to learn from those that are doing it and you are a role model for someone like myself, looking to be more entrepreneur.

    I have a few resolutions:

    Listen to Linked2Leadership podcasts while working out- as opposed to music
    Read More! books, blogs, etc
    Continue to learn...everyday!

    I noticed one of your resolutions was:

  • My New Year's Resolution is to get Shira Lazar to come to O'briens Pub, 2941 Main St. in santa monica, Saturday the 3rd of January, for a highly entertaining show of the Dirty Suits and Spaceship Martini!!!!!!!!!!

    Good luck with your new year resolutions!!

    Mine off the top of my head:

    - Find more clients
    - Start going to classes in the gym
    - Cook a new dish from recipe book I got for Christmas every week



    I will have to have a proper think to think of more.....

    I chose to completely eliminate fast food and soda from my diet, and to improve upon my marathon time of 3 hours 27 minutes. Must hit 3 hours 10 minutes to qualify for Boston!
