PS. Thanks to Michael Maples for this crazy rad jumping shot!

Here’s an excerpt- read the rest HERE
HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay ‘them.’

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. ‘An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.’ And the devil’s name is Alzheimer’s.

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love , whether it’s family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don’t take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER : Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Oct2008 15

Yay! I’m so excited for today’s announcement: I’ll be hosting video coverage for the WebbyConnect Summit next week (Oct. 21-24) at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. The summit brings together judges, winners from previous Webby Awards and leaders in the internet world.

The coolest part is that I’ll be doing all the interviews and coverage with my Nokia mobile video phone and uploading the videos throughout the day during the conference.

Keep up-to-speed with everything on the WebbyConnect BLOG.

Here’s my video announcement posted on their site this A.M.:

Just got back from a 6-hour shoot for the Hollywood Style Awards. I was the official video host for Hollywood Life who puts on the awards. It was non-stop interview madness, but a blast. Got to chat it up with Ludacris, Eve, Sophia Bush, Kristen Bell, Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Monique Lhuillier among many others. One of my highlights was meeting Manny Mashouf, the founder of Bebe! It’s one of my favorite stores to get that hot sexy number that always pops!

Some fun videos will be posted soon. :)

OKTOBERFEST

My friend Dave is a TV producer by day. By night, he runs a site called mrjetsetter.com and lives to travel. His latest journey brought him to Germany for Oktoberfest. Why I love this guy is because of these videos he does whenever he travels- it’s like his own mini Travel Channel show- enjoy!

Friday night I headed with my chicas to the Genart 11th Annual Fresh Faces of Fashion, showcasing 8 up and coming designers. Geri of becauseimaddicted.net fame and I bumped into Jerell from Project Runway and did a little impromptu interview you can find on my mobile video player. FYI- for all you fans out there, Jerell got 4th place on the show!
