UPGRADING FROM A CARDBOARD BOX FOR THE HOMELESS

A few months ago, I had the honor of meeting Peter Samuelson. He told me stories of movies he's executive produced, and lets not forget to mention a charity he started called the Starlight Foundation. This brilliant entrepreneur is humble to say the least!

He also told me about his new invention to help the homeless- a grocery cart contraption that doubles as an actual shelter. It's called EDAR- short for Everyone Deserves a Roof. LA Times did a great article about it this recently.

During such harsh economic times, it's an inspiring story that makes me feel extremely grateful for everything I have. It also makes you realize how much of a difference we can all make, and how there are people like Peter who are working hard to make that positive change happen every day.
