Watching the Oscars at the 4 Seasons with my friend Katrina from First Look Studios.

Just watched the Oscars, which for a big 80th b-day was pretty uneventful.
No big aha moments, no great Oscar speeches or surprises.

Have we all gotten over it? Probably not, because the Oscars are such a big part of Hollywood and loved by the American public. I must say though, it was pretty obvious there was something missing from this year's big awards show. A je ne sais quoi, as the french would say.

My favorite moment had to be while watching the post coverage on ABC. The "news reporter" introduced a fashion shot of Jennifer Hudson and said it was Beyonce Knowles. Haha! See? This is why entertainment reporters are important people!
