Oscars 2011 : The Digital Perspective

While the spotlight was no doubt on the Oscars telecast this Sunday, a ton of attention was focused on the Oscar.com digital experience, which included an online experience and an app that allowed users to navigate over 17 cameras on the red carpet, Kodak Theater, backstage and even inside the Governor's Ball. This year, I was given the opportunity to be part of this very innovative "first" in the industry, co-hosting the Oscar.com webcast with Radio Disney's Fabulous Jake Whetter. The product was a huge success, with over a million views and hundreds of thousands of downloads of the 99 cent app, as well as thousands of people purchasing the $4.99 All Access pass.  It was obvious to many that this had re-invented and set a new standard for the dual-screen viewing experience.

I also want to thank my amazing glam squad team who got me decked out from head to toe: Michelle Phan (makeup guru), Chriselle Lim (stylist), Krista Bradford (hair stylist). Thanks to Bellacures too for the mani-pedi.

For many asking, my dress was by Ronald Abdalla and the expensive bling by Erica Courtney. You can read more about my outfit HERE.
